Context The Vitrine project is a high-concept wall-mounted console developed for the Arline Furniture Factory. The piece was envisioned as a "floating gallery" — a sophisticated storage solution that combines the warmth of rare timber with the transparency of tinted glass and metallic accents.
The Challenge The objective was to present this product in a way that emphasizes its elegance and technical precision. I had to solve the visual logic of the piece: how to integrate internal lighting to highlight the bronze back panel and, most importantly, how to showcase the unique corner construction where glass meets glass without a structural profile.
The Solution & Impact I focused on a meticulous digital representation of premium materials:
- Exotic Materiality: The frame is finished in Purpleheart Frisse — a rare veneer with a distinct crimson hue — contrasted against a Brushed Bronze back panel from Kronospan’s Metallic collection.
- Structural Transparency: I emphasized the technical "hero" feature: the L-shaped corner doors made of Planibel Bronze glass. By showcasing the 45-degree mitered bonding, I highlighted the absence of vertical corner profiles, giving the piece a seamless, sculptural appearance.
Illumination & Atmosphere: Through precise 3D visualization, I integrated soft internal lighting that reflects off the bronze surfaces, creating a warm, inviting glow. The result is a presentation that elevated the factory's concept into a market-ready premium product, approved for immediate production.
