Context
Urban Noir is a key part of the 2024 "Interior Collection" developed for BRIDGE Design Studio. This system was designed to provide developers with fixed, turnkey interior solutions that are easily adaptable to any apartment layout while maintaining a consistent aesthetic.
The Challenge
As Lead Designer, my task was to create a high-impact, "signature" style that feels premium despite being in the Comfort Class category. The project required strict adherence to budgetary constraints and a limited list of regional suppliers, meaning the "luxury" feel had to come from smart design choices rather than expensive sourcing.
The Solution & Impact
I developed a contemporary "Noir" aesthetic using a palette of deep charcoal and graphite surfaces, contrasted with warm, rusty-orange leather accents (as seen in the Eames-style loungers and kitchen stools). To ensure scalability and rapid implementation, I utilized a strategic mix of cost-effective yet durable materials: quartz vinyl for the floors and porcelain stoneware for wet areas. By focusing on high-contrast textures, bespoke cabinetry with integrated lighting, and bold architectural silhouettes, I proved that a strong, confident visual identity can be successfully delivered as a scalable, budget-conscious product.
