Context
"Nocturne" is the most sophisticated entry within the 2024 Interior Collection for BRIDGE Design Studio. It was specifically designed to appeal to a more mature demographic — residents seeking a sense of stability, prestige, and a style that remains relevant regardless of passing trends.
The Challenge
The main challenge was translating the "Classic" aesthetic, which traditionally relies on expensive custom craftsmanship and ornate details, into a scalable "Comfort Class" product. I had to achieve a sense of "solidity" and heritage using a fixed budget and a limited list of standard regional suppliers.
The Solution & Impact
I adopted a "Modern Classic" strategy, focusing on architectural proportions and contrast rather than excessive decoration. By pairing simple, high-function furniture with iconic classic lighting fixtures, I created an interior that feels anchored and established. The use of bold contrast elements adds a contemporary edge to the traditional layout, ensuring the space feels "now" as well as "forever." This project demonstrates my ability to systematize complex styles, delivering a prestigious, high-end feel through smart product coordination and disciplined design logic.
